. . .but given my profession and some of the blazing geniuses of my generation whom I have encountered, I can't say I entirely disagree with this article. As much as I wish I could drop the article age down to 20 or so, I have to say that people my age are just as digitally immersed as the kids I teach.
Does this mean I have given up on youth? Of course not! I just get really tired of how little we expect of young people despite the fact that higher standards DO make a difference in life. I'd love to hear your thoughts. . .if anyone still reads this.
