I'm not going to lie: I wasn't looking forward to a new school year at all until I met some of my students today. Freshmen always steal my heart with their quirkiness, and I'm so glad they got me excited for what is to come. Bring on the school year!
In other news, I FINALLY finished "The Lost Art Of Keeping Secrets" by Eva Rice. The book was ok, but I never really felt like it had much of a plot. Aunt Barb, Anna, and several other people recommended "Water for Elephants," so I'll give that one a try next.
